The HERstory Vol.1 release features Mary's 1992 single "You Remind Me," the 1993 remix of "What's the 411" featuring K-Ci (of K-Ci and JoJo) and the Notorious B.I.G., and "Can't Knock the Hustle" featuring Jay-Z to name a few. Her mothers boyfriend at the time later played the recording to Jeff Redd, a recording artist and A&R runner for Uptown Records. The box set will reportedly include rare mixes and will be available in four different formats: a 2xLP set, eight standard 7" vinyl records, one CD and a digital compilation. Blige recorded an impromptu cover of Anita Bakers Caught Up In the Rapture at a recording booth in a local mall (Damn, anybody remember them, they were cool). 1 and is set to arrive on December 6 via UMe. According to Pitchfork, the box set is entitled HERstory Vol.
